Sylvain
was a pupil in Lycée Condorcet, Paris. On this picture he is 13 years
old.
Closeup
on Sylvain in the previous picture.
Sylvain
liked posing. He had something you could find with some models.
Sylvain
had several female models posing for him. "Working with a model is
very sensual, almost like having sex ..."
This
picture back in 1983, shot in his studio in Montreuil, just outside Paris.
Sylvain
posing in front of one of his works. Around 1984 ?
Sylvain
in his studio. He does not seem to be peacefull on this picture.
Sylvain
during his first stay in New-York. He was carrying his rolled works in
this home made cardboard tube. Back in 1984.
Sylvain
during the opening of the xhibition in Tokyo. Back in 1991.
Sylvain
working in his studio in Paris, 17 rue Poulet, on the work named
"Lovin'you for ever".
One can see the projectors I installed, as he needed much precision when
finishing these works. Certainly 1990.
Sylvain
in front of the
Grand Palais Hall, in Paris. This Moris column was part of the
exhibition. Should be 1982, during the group exhibition called
"Grands et Jeunes d'Aujourd'hui".
Sylvain
with his daughter Hana. She is there around 5. Back in 1994. Le
Petit prince record from the story by Saint Exupery was our favorite story
when we were young kids.
This picture was published in Paris Match.
Sylvain
was teaching in the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris. Here with some of his
students. Spring or Summer 1995 or 1996.
